In the stillness of devotion, I felt two inner rivers meet —
one the disciplined current of yoga, the other the tender surge of love.
Out of that confluence arose two stained-glass-like images and two poems,
a twin hymn to Bhakti.
These vitrals are not teachings but living bridges of golden light —
they let the current of devotion become visible as image and audible as verse.

Vitral I — The Confluence beneath the Sun with Human-like Face

Poem: To Bhakti — Face of the Sun
O Bhakti, golden face of dawn,
you rise above the meeting streams,
your gaze unweaves the shadows
that reason laid across the hills.
You call each current by its secret name
and bid them bend toward one another,
until the confluence sings of homecoming.
In your warmth the stern river of discipline softens,
and the bright river of longing deepens;
their mingling is your hymn.
Stay with me as I lift my eyes to you,
so that the light I see in your calm brow
may enter my own heart
and shine there as the quiet power to love.

Vitral II — The Meeting of the Two Rivers under the Golden Dawn

Poem: To Bhakti — Keeper of the Rivers
O Bhakti, tender flame,
I turn to you as to a friend who waits at the river’s bend.
You are not a thought I can hold,
but a warmth that reaches out before I can speak.
You do not bargain for my faith;
you lean close and ask only that I be willing
to be carried into deeper water.
In your gaze the siddhis are nothing but leaves on the tide,
and the heart becomes the true confluence
where discipline and surrender meet.
Teach me to be the river that flows
and the sun that receives,
to know that the power I longed for
was always the courage to love without defense.
